A facelift for one of Geelong’s favourite hotels
With new owners at the helm in 2018, the Belmont Hotel has received a classy facelift, turning it into one of Geelong’s top function venues. After three months of hard work and renovations, the re-launch of the Belmont Hotel in mid-2018 was a huge success.
The Art-Deco facelift took inspiration from much of the original 1920s decor. From gorgeous exposed floorboards and original brickwork, to new furniture and lighting installations, the Belmont Hotel oozes warmth and glamour.
Striking blue seating is offset by glitzy chandelier lighting, creating an elegant homage to the 1920s, and a cosy, inviting space.
The renovations have taken everything that was so loved about the Belmont Hotel, and added a layer of pizazz to really bring out the hotel’s character.
The two main function rooms at the Belmont Hotel – the ‘Belmont’ Function Room and the Wine Lounge – offer a gorgeous space for every kind of event. Situated on the upper level of the hotel, The ‘Belmont’ Function Room can hold up to 120 guests surrounded by 1920s-style decor, ideal for cocktail parties, engagements, birthday parties and corporate events.
The slightly cosier Wine Lounge can comfortably cater for up to 50 guests, who will enjoy the warm ambience created by the Belmont Hotel’s original fireplace dating back to the 1970s.
